376.22 metal wireway

I see there has been an 08 change in 376.22 for clarification.

So as an example, 31 CCCs anywhere in the wireway would be adjusted down to 40% ampacity...all 31. Not to exceed 20% cross sectional area. Is this correct?

Seems to me that is the intent of 376.22(B), but the language could have been more specific

Correct, any time you exceed 30 CCCs in any cross sectional area of the wireway you must apply the adjustment factors of 310.15(B)(2)(a).
