400A Meter (320 continuous) with 2 outdoor service panels (w/ main disconnects)

I’ve only seen one area where I live require it. Otherwise I’ve always been told to avoid it.
IMO it's the best place for it.

True. I just feel like there isn’t really a fully safe and compliant install with a 400a meter and 2 service panels. I wish my company would just let us install a 400a service panel….

Do you know the difference in price between a 400 WP panel and 2 - 200 amp panels. There is a significant difference. I used to buy the 200 amp wp panels for $125 while a 400 amp panel was something like $800. I am sure the prices are different now.
