Apparently you feel the 200 amp service would be compliant. I woud have thoughtn not, but this forum has shown me how often I think wrong

True, but in this case 424.3 (B) does state that heating equipment will be considered a continous load. Although that statement is entitled "Branch Circuits", I would think it would effect how one sizes the service.Gogreen100 said:
