I have engineer that tells me they dont make gfci 42ka. Is there any 42ka rated breaker with gfci? Does anyone know in here?
Depends on what you want. If it is 1 pole, 15 to 30A, Siemens has a single pole 120V bolt-on version GFCI breaker that is rated for 65kAIC; BF115AHH (change the 15 to 20, 25 or 30 respectively). But the same thing in 2 pole / 240V is only rated for 22kAIC.
But where are you finding a need for GFCI protection on a circuit with that much AFC? Don't confuse "Ground Fault" requirements for main breakers over 1,000A with "GFCI", they are different terms.
