ABB VFD RUN PROBLEM

Dear All,

We have Allen Bradley VFD CAT1336F-B050-AN-EN. We are facing problem that when we give RUN command from HMI, then drive card 1336F-MCB-SP1K shows that drive is running by turning ON RUN (GREEN) LED, but on HMI drive remains on stopped condition and not goes on ?at speed? position and also drive not run physically.

We have this same issue on other Allen Bradley Drives: 1336F-BP400-AN-EN-NCM & 1336F-B200-AN-EN.
Please give valuable suggestions to solve the problem.

With best regards,

Have you tried starting the motor across the line (bypassing the VFD) to confirm that the motor is good?
Verified the wiring to the motor?
Does the drive display an error code?

Did amything change, or did this just start happening all of a sudden? Is there a disconnect switch between the drive and the motor that might be open?

1336F by the way is an old ALLEN BRADLEY drive, not ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).
1336F drives were discontinued in 1998, Rockwell had a "last buy" on components for repairing them in back in 2006, and they were officially made obsolete, meaning no more support for them, in 2014. 16 years is a long time for continued support on anything electronic like that, longer than most, but all good things must come to an end some day. Might be time to think about upgrading them to never versions.
