btw, they are making 10 copper clad aluminum.  Not sure what company but they were at a fair a few years ago and had some with him.  They were showing how you can use #10 for a water heater but they failed to mention that it had to be on a 25 amp overcurrent protective device .  I had a discussion with someone because they thought you could use a 30 amp device....
