Only thing I ask is floor plan showing lites and receptacle outlets so I can mark circuit #'s of each
I don't ever get it

I’ve seen that many times.
If homeowner agrees, best to label each receptacles and switch plate. The single little numbers from a marker book are small enough not to stand out much.
My father in law made kitchen cabinets for our first home. Not perfect, but the price was excellent. I marked the doors prior to MDSW staining them so we would know where to put them back. I didn't do it well enough. That was a puzzle to put back together.I've seen that a few times (much to the wife's displeasure despite the small lettering). Worked well til the 1st re-painting when the painter put all the covers in a pile![]()
Painters done that to me today, they took all the covers off, then randomly put them back on! I had labeled them because the original electrician had a lot of random switched outlets, and the owner couldn’t figure out the rhyme or reason.I've seen that a few times (much to the wife's displeasure despite the small lettering). Worked well til the 1st re-painting when the painter put all the covers in a pile![]()
