Article 517

Dentist office.
We have installed a pvc raceway and floor box for the duplex outlet feeding the dentist chair as we have done 20 plus times for a dentist office.
Inspector failed states it must be a "metal raceway system".
I reread parts of Article 517 and it appears he is correct, and we have been doing it wrong.

Any exceptions I have missed?

No exceptions that I know of. (Some of the inspectors must not have looked closely)
As a "escape" if the PVC is large enough, I have seen Jacketed HCF Cable installed in the existing.

I agree with Gus, the inspector is correct.
