All of my holding screwdrivers are heat shrinked and thats all I can say about it. It is strictly for color identification.

I don't usually get into debates like this on the forum, but I have such a hard time believing that all of you preaching the safety angle never work, have never worked, and will never work again on live electricity. It seems so far fetched I can't even think of ways to make my case anymore because I will be repsonded with some "this is the problem" response coming from the people who do the exact same thing.

I have worked hot before I knew better.

I have not worked hot without the proper PPE for shock and arc flash protection in 8 years and never will again. I lost a friend to an arc flash 8 years ago, and have visited several others in burn centers over the last few years so honestly, I always work de-energized, or in certian circumstances, live with the proper PPE.
