I"m thinking a training program for kids in school where we shock em with non-lethal jolts just so they know that they don't want to put that paper clip in the socket. Might have to crank up the amps a little for the bigger kids : )

after i stuck the back of a fork in a socket i got a spanking, not a trip to the ER ---i think i did it at least one more time after that

Yeah, but if you're smart like me, you blamed it on your little brother. Being blamed for stuff was the one thing he was really good at.

i was changing out a couple switches at home awhile back and my 4 year old says be carefull dad youll get shocked. maybe this kid diddnt pay attention in preschool. but i bet he wont do that anymore ever.

I have to disagree. I am all for safety, but if a 10 yr old doesn't know not to stick things in electrical devices, then his parents should pay for someone to teach him that simple thing. They obviously didn't, and now someone else is going to have to pay for that failing. Presumably, this poor common-sense deficient child will now spend the rest of his life being flown to shock trauma when he crosses the road without looking, walks into holes without looking, lights fires with gasoline, runs over his foot with the lawnmower, and who knows what else. Society does not have the resources to protect this child from parents who did not teach him how to stay alive.
I agree, 10 years old and he still did it? whats next? what else are we going to ask our government to take care of?
