Yes they have started to add these clauses to policies to protect themselves against DIYers . I sure hope no person gets injured because someone has read your leaflet and felt they could handle a job they had no business doing. I also hope you have a liability policy to protect yourself because you will need it. I also feel insulted that has a person in the trade and have spent years in a apprenticeship, you feel that our trade is so simple anyone can teach them self from reading from your web site.

iwire. I have been in the IBEW union for 15 years and am now a IBEW union contractor. We all do not fall under that category. Why is it easy to pass judgement on unions so easily? Personally I could say I'm glad to belong to the organization that had a large part is creating safety standards, work standards, apprenticeship training and set the wage standard industry wide so we all can make a fair living. Go work in Mexico for a $1.00 a day and unsafe conditions twisting wires and think who set the standards in which you work under. I do agree that, that steward was a jerk and should not be a steward position.
