Green/blue colorblindness is the most common.

Just ask puppy... she'll tell ya.
Tell her that, in humans, it's red/green, which is why stop-light red and green placement is standardized.

The story on the wirenuts.

The left side of the box was extended past the drywall and the plate didn't fit flush. The face of the stud was chipped away for some reason. I can only guess that they jammed the wirenuts in there the tweak the box flush, but it didn't work so well.

I had t repalce the switches, so while I was in there I drove a screw through the back corner of the box and into the stud. Problem solved. Plate fits nice and flush :)

Some call them battleships around here because they look like a battleship.
I never heard that term until I started hearing it from other electricians on the 'net. I always knew them as Madison straps or just "box supports". Of course, some people call Kruse straps "box supports" too, so I always just stuck with Madison straps for clarity.

We call them madison clips and they are just annother annomily whereas they are not listed yet everyone uses them .
I dont get it it is just ignored as if there is a pink elephant in the room and no one mentions it they just look around and pretend it is not there.
