Short of building a collection yourself - you may have to wait for some eccentric old Electrician to die....And hope his widow sees some value to them and puts them on Ebay rather than in the Bay.
The year of the Code as it was finished by the NFPA used to be on the Code book. However, most states and jurisdictions would not adopt until the following year. It was decided to put the following year on the Code so that it would have a fighting chance of having the year of adoption on it instead of the year of the copyright.
