Conductors left in breaker

I guess one maybe needs to define what primary and secondary cover means, in the OP there is still one more cover to remove before you can get a screwdriver on the breaker lugs.

You're right. Was looking at the cut/capped wires and didnt notice. :slaphead:

I havent looked at the listing for Wago connectors, but they have to be listed for one wire as they are one wire per port.

The secondary cover was already removed in the pics shown.

First of all, no, it wasn't. The terminals for the breakers are clearly covered up in that first picture.

Second of all you're looking at a picture that somebody took after the fact. You don't know what the electrician who left the conductors like that did.

I just took a look at the 3M clear capped crimp on end connectors and they are listed for a single wire.....getting a crimper in the OP's spot might be tough, though.
Might just have to take off the remaining dead front to get to it eh? If that isn't enough room unplug the breaker from the bus and then you should be able to get the crimper on there.:)

..... idc about wirenuts being rated for more than one conductor.

Neither do I, IF something like the op had to be done, I agree with this-

V V V V V V V

regular wirenuts screwed onto the insulation. (Sorry Chris :) )

All arguments and hand wringing over listing aside-

*There is a minimum of bare conductor exposed, if nut somehow comes off, but-

*If someone used a smaller nut (a yellow would work for the op) it would grip tighter, and would be less likely to get loose/fall off.

*It's faster than taping a bare end.
