Connection between Liquid tight and PVC

I could not find a suitable connector to link PVC and Liquid-Tight, so I did this. I took a Liquid-tight connector and a female adaptor which has a PVC connector on the other end and linked it. Now, where the Liquid-tight connector links with the PVC connector, on the female side (where the threads are on the inside, the Liquidtight connector screws on to the PVC connector. Is this code compliant? Does anyone know of a better way. Thank you.

It's a common way that I see hot tubs hooked up.

I prefer to have a pullbox instead of the female adapter transition, but I can't think of a violation with it.

However, the box connectors for liquidtight conduit have reduced cross section inside, particularly for nonmetallic variety.

Carlon sells liquid tight "flexible offsets".
It is just a 6" piece of 1/2" L.T. flex, with a L.T.connector & a 1/2" PVC female adaptor on each end!
It's important to thread the LT connector tight into the female adaptor so the rubber ring seals the connection, keeping it Liquid Tight.
