Converting gate opener to solar

I didn't know where he was, I wasn't paying attention. Besides it was my parents fault. They didn't give us confined space training or supply us with barricades and caution tape

That's about 35 bucks today. What's the solar equipment worth?

That's what I'm saying. You might be able to get a 100W panel and a suitable charge ckntroller for that much, on the low end. Well, maybe not with shipping.

I have seen this kind of thing here in Texas where the gate is a long way from the house. Every one I have seen used a PV module or two, a charge controller, a battery or two, and a DC motor.

In, this case, though, if an AC line is already there, PV makes no sense to me.
