1. "pool light" junction box- is one needed if I am running straight from the light niche to the salt water control box-(Aqua Rite Plus) it controls the lights, pumps, etc. Has it's own 100A sub panel. I don't see the purpose of going through a junction box if I can run directly into the control box and connect to a GFCI 15a breaker
2. What's the minimum dept of the non-metallic runway that will be carrying the power from the light to the breaker? Will be running under a concrete deck, not under the pool.
3. Is a timer required between the source (main panel) and the pool control box?
4. This question refers to a disconnect, and if it is needed. To set the stage the main panel bird is on one side of the house, and the pool equipment is on the other side. A 200 amp disconnect was added next to main panel board. Off of that I plan on adding a 60 amp breaker (30 amp double pole) and running through the outside wall, under the house, and coming out on opposite side of house. From there it would enter the Aqua Rite control box that has an internal 100 amp sub panel. the distance is approx 65 ft from end to end. Is this possible, or do I need to have another 60amp disconnect, then go to the pool control box- seems wrong but I thought i read that a disconnect was needed if a certain distance from main panel?? Also, if permissible, i will run solid conduit out of disconnect, then once under the house run without conduit until it goes back outside the brick. Does that wire have to be run in conduit?
Thanks!!
