In my area in nc, inspectors are calling people using the spaces
on an outdoor 200amp disconnect to feed anything but the indoor
loadcenter.Ex. branch circuit to a heatpump. If the available spaces
outdoors are used then you have to derate the indoor feeders.Any ideas?:)

this can mean that T.310.15(B)(6) does not apply since it doesn't carry the entire load of the service. Is that what you mean?

I think it has some thing to do with 310.15(b)6
I am not sure derate is the proper terminology in this case.
It is the new ampacity's allowed .
It's a pain , heh?

Okay Dennis beat me.

Thats the best idea I can come up with.By using the outdoor buss,
you are no longer allowed to use 310.15(B)(6) but 310.16.This
sound correct?
