You are not supposed to drive 80, so there was nothing wrong, yet:grin:

Just returned from a trip from Los Angeles to Idaho and back. The speed limit on I-15 is 75most of the way, so I drove 84. But in 2 +/- 20 mile sections in Utah, north of the I-70 junction, there is a posted limit of 80MPH (where I drove 89).

If your car isn't supposed to drive 80--get a better car.

Driving 84 in a 75 zone is like putting a 12 copper on a 30 amp circuit where it is not allowed by any exceptions:grin: It is not right but it does happen.
