DW/Disposal Cords

When you guys wire a new house, does the GC require you to install cords on the dishwasher and disposal? I'm getting tired of being called back after the appliances are installed to put cords on. It's a real PIA with the dishwasher especially.

If whoever installs the cord doesn't comply with code - is it on you to make it right? Here is sort of is, the EC is responsible for electrical work. If more then one contractor is responsible for electrical work on a project then each should have a permit for their portion of electrical work done.

I can see this being different in other places though.

If plumbers can do minimal electrical, it stands to reason electricians can do minimal plumbing.

We're reno'ing a high end kitchen right now.

2nd home, plumbing 'under the sink' let go, nobody noticed for weeks

The former plumbers insurance rep has been solicited

We're it my rep, i'd be turned down flat , as we're not covered to plumb
