I have recently begun reading into kirchoffs law and was wondering if there were any other laws or similar things out there that would be good to learn about.

Oh man that brought up some memories me getting my electronics degree some more may be Thevenins Theorem, Nortons Theorem ? Ohms and Kirchoffs are the main basics

This concept also shows up in wind turbine layout/design as the power output will vary by the cube of the velocity. Any time a building owner starts talking about small scale wind turbines, I always suggest installing a few anemometers where they are thinking of installing the turbines to make sure the power production from the installation will be able to meet the owner's expectations since the wind conditions can vary greatly at the lower heights.
And monitor it for at least a year before spending any money on equipment. There are a lot of small wind scams out there.
