Sounds like what we call 'minis'.

Mini's are what we call them as well. So, what caused the slang Mae West? Any speculation? On a side note, It would be cool to have a reference section that listed slang and meaning. I lived in California and now in Florida. I had a lot of adjusting to do.

Still use "Bat Wings" on independent ceiling tywire for pipe, MC, and term into a box held by a Caddy tywire clamp?

I have worked in Florida and Ca. Yes, you can still use them in accordance with the NEC. Up to 8 years ago, Ca. allowed them, but they had restrictions, upper third and lower third of the wire only if I remember
