Wouldn't that just require 1 per window since the windows are 15' long and the requirements are 12' or major fraction therof? 15-12=3', 6'+ would be major fraction of 12'

I thought it would mean the major fraction of a foot.

Since 12 linear feet is the requirement, I think they mean major fraction of 12'.
That is also what the handbook shows.
I agree. One per window. 15 ? 12 = 1-1/4. The fractional part has to be greater than 1/2 for another to be required.

Exam Question

Exam Question

Have an exam prep question just couldn't come up with the answer. Would appreciate any help you guys could offer. "When an NM ko plug is used in a metal box how far does it stick into the box" My first instincts sent me to 110.12 (A), but i think that is the opposite situation. Thanks for the help!!

112.12 (A) and 314.17 are the only places I see knock out mentioned. But it doesn't say NM plug for a metal box. I'm interested in what others say, but I don't see it being a code question.
