I clicked on the link for wacky uses for everyday products. Interesting and entertaining. Here is one I thought was particularly good:
Under uses for WD-40...
Thread electrical wire through conduits. Spray WD-40 on the electrical wire to help it glide through winding conduits.

Got a quick Code Article to go with this statement ?joebell said:...
The 2008 code relaxes the bonding requirements for receptacles attached to the cover in your photo, no bonding jumper is reqired to be connected to the receptacle when you use that style cover and it is attached by 2 screws. ... Good luck.

Got a quick Code Article to go with this statement ?
250.146(A) Surface-Mounted Box. This provision shall not apply to cover-mounted receptacles unless the box and cover combination are listed as providing satisfactory ground continuity between the box and the receptacle. A listed exposed work cover shall be permitted to be the grounding and bonding means when (1) the device is attached to the cover with at least two fasteners that are permanent (such as a rivet) or have a thread locking or screw locking means and (2) when the cover mounting holes are located on a flat non-raised portion of the cover.
I really don't know. My personal opinion... if a guy is not using crushed corner covers, he's doing the wrong thing. The one's with the raised corners are harder to get to sit nice on the box, use long screws that are easily lost, and come in plastic wrappers that need disposed of. The crushed corners covers lay flat and tight on the box, use the short screws that already come installed in the 4-square, and generally have no individual packaging requiring disposal.kornbln said:taking a look at the Raco catalog there are crushed corner and non-crushed... why? anyone have some insight into this? is it just a matter of appearance or is there some technical/code reason?
