Me too...so I buy the glue in quart sizes and refill a 1/2 pint can that I keep in the truck.
The shelf life is good since I only open the quart can when I need a refill, and then sit it back on the shelf in the shop.
Also, the applicator in the 1/2 pint can works well with small fittings, where the applicator in the quart can is too large for most of the conduit sizes that I use.
