Feeder question - 60HP mixer

A 460V 60HP bakery mixer fed through a 240X480 112.5KVA transformer. This transformer is fed from a 2400X240 150KVA substation. The mixer does not operate properly.
However When the primary is disconnected and the 240V side is fed from a 300KVA generator, it does operate properly.

Any immediate thoughts on reasons why the utility feed is not working?
The owner thinks it may be a too-small primary feeder to the substation. (size unknown)
Could grounding have anything to do with it?

Blown primary fuse.
Have you confirmed voltage in/out?

Grounding probably has nothing to do with this problem. Someone needs to measure the voltage going to the mixer from the transformer and see if it is correct.

Also what does it mean when you say it does not operate properly?

Suggest following tests
Open ckt voltage, running voltage, inrush amps, running amps, on existing xfmr and generator.

This is 3-phase power, correct? Have you checked the phase rotation?

Should not make a difference but we still don't know what "doesn't operate properly" means so it s more a shot in the dark.
Sight unseen, my money would be with Jons' idea: rotation !

Most 480 volt motors can be connected 208-240. Why are you using a step up transformer? Is a VFD involved?
