They can use the new macmikeman laundry extension device.

This device will allow the relocation of washing machines out of dedicated electrical space. " Note- pvc drain piping not included. Contact a licenced electrician for proper relocation of dedicated laundry receptacle outlet per local and national codes".

I agree with you 100%.

There IS a washer and dryer going there. If there is NOT cap the plumbing and have the final signed off.

And then.....

That is what will normally happen in a situation like this. The builder will know that he doesn't have the room for the appliance but he will also know there is a way around it. This sort of thing happens more than people would think.
