What is that?

I thought it was a hand hole but it is dry and no hand holes are dry. :wink:


Here is what a hand hole looks like, there would be snow around it but the boiling water from the 480 volt splices kept it melted back.

Does anyone use primer on electrical conduit? I've never once seen it used.

In Evansville Indiana you will, thats the only place I've had an inspector require it. Must be a Union thing.

An old guy that runs another crew at our company uses primer.
Cleaner, pause, primer, pause, glue, pause, duct tape, drop it in!

Here in Georgia we now are required to have a soil conservation card holder on the job site before the first shovel of dirt (or sand for you Chris!) is turned. I have heard of some municpalities requiring it to drive a ground rod.

Poor Al - every time you post a picture of him, it seems he is in a trench. What's up with that? :grin:

I've only seen 1 picture with poor Al smiling. He was above ground in that one!
