Scott: Yea seen this tag more so on exhaust/fan/lights but also I have seen it on some cans. Which makes it code per 110.3. Just something to look at in the future. Probable just in the way the fixture was tested for the application, the manufactures way of covering thy backside. But this is not on all, so picking a fixture does not only depend on looks and or price.

Not that I doubt you but what manufacturer? Maybe Capri? :p
