Generator Inlet Interlocking two Panels (400A service)

Wanted to see if I can get some feedback on this, I am not finding anything that's a code violation issue on this installation but perhaps Im missing something;

Customer wants a 50A gen inlet installed for 2 (200A) panels on a 320 continuous/400A service. Mechanically interlocked (using UL listed kits such as square D, interlock kit etc). Both panels will have a 50A breaker interlocked with the MCB and I'll have a splice in either panel or maybe a box from the inlet branching to both 50A gen inlet breakers.

And yes I know, I already gave the customer an estimate for a 22kw generac system, which is above budget hence looking for another solution.

Same here, although my preference is to rearrange circuits for one genny panel if practicable.

Yeah might be better to put "generator stuff" on one panel and "non generator stuff" on the other panel.
