Shot in the dark here but has anyone seen a GU10 lamp mounting bracket in stainless steel that I could use to replace range hood LED’s?

Pic of my hood below. I want to take the LED modules out and install Philips Hue GU10 lamps so they can match my Hue cabinet lights.

Ok it turns out you can fit a GU10 within the same trim ring. Now I just have to fab a clip to hold it in, and wire in some GU10 sockets.

Might look at something made for RVs

Thanks James, I appreciate the help. I actually looked at something identical to this on amazon.

Being that I now know the GU10 lamp fits inside the existing stainless trim ring, I’m going to try and fabricate a clip that will hold it in place. The existing led module has a retainer that screws onto the back of it and that’s what holds it in place. Not sure yet how I could replicate this on the GU10.

I have an extra set of trims to play with because the hood came with 5000k lamps and I ordered 3000k replacements. But now I really want to change to the Hue GU10’s so they’ll sync up with the rest of my kitchen lights.

Im thinking if i can find a GU10 socket with a nipple on it, it would be as simple as cutting some flat metal, drill a hole to slide it over the nipple, and bed the metal down on the side to press against the backside of the hood trim to hold it.

Actually this would do the trick I think. It’s got a threaded entry for a nipple like I was saying in me previous post. I’m going to order a couple of these now. Thanks !!

You're welcome. Just thought a few "outside the box" options might open up some possibilities. Let us know what you come up with

Ordered.

That website has some neat stuff. I ordered this 2” fixture from them a couple weeks ago to put in a display niche I built for my wife.
