Hi guys, I am new here and hope you don't mind someone who is not in the electrical field but who needs some knowledge/help from time to time. I am currently trying to diagnose what is wrong with my dryer and this is my first experience using an analog multimeter. I have watched videos and read the instructions for my meter, but I am still a little confused . The meter has settings of x10, x100, and x1000. If I get a reading of 15 when the dial is set to x10, does that mean the reading is 150 ohms? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
