Using a many turn calibrated coil with a calibration constant of 20*f/60 millivolts/Gauss and assuming only 60 Hz magnetic fields, then I generally read about 1 to 2 milligauss for my residual field intensity. The 60 Hz field could be lower if the field has high frequency components. My resolution is 0.5 milligauss.
