that's all I'm asking for
what are the basic measurements: line i's and N i
line 1 - line 2 = N
could give us a starting point or a direction to start looking

if line 1 = line 2 and N ne 0 wouldn't that tell us something?

Or ignore

if you were troubleshooting what would be one of the first steps?
measure the currents?

The equipment is straight 208 volt, no neutral. No neutral no neutral current right?

Agree. My thought was at the transformer itself where a K- factor Transformer has a 200% neutral. But, a neutral extended along with the phase conductors where there are no L-N loads, nothing connected to it, there shouldn't be an current, agreed.
