Re: HMMMM!!!!!!

I agree. In this thread alone, George has used words and phrases such as: "analogous", "spontaneous", "Listed for Marsh Gas Locations", "pull my finger", "unexpected stimulus", "mutual embarrassment", "peacemeal", "scenario", "phenomenon", "ceramic-cutting rotozip", "squirting an exposed bulb", and my personal favorite, "luminaires tended to rust out and fall on people's heads".

George rocks!

Re: HMMMM!!!!!!

Hello Marc

"Pierre, it seems to me someone got sick of arguing about whether a location was damp or not"

I hope you do not think we are arguing, it is a good discussion. Sick of it :D

Re: HMMMM!!!!!!

Pierre, I too have learned a good deal and no we are not arguing ,I'm just suggesting arguments may have been a motivating factor for the original proposal that created the measured zone excluding dry rated fixtures..

I also love to read history , one of my favorite authors is the late great Shelby Foote his trilogy on the civil war is absolutely fantastic.

Your father , it seems , was a wise man and gave you good advice.

Re: HMMMM!!!!!!

My father "is" a great man, 83 and still shoots in the mid to lower 80's golfing :D .

I wonder if you notice, that I do stir the posts once in a while. That is when I learn the most.

Shelby Foote is also one of my favorite authors, as I have spent alot of time reading about the
Civil War. You might want to try Jeff and Michael Shaara, as the father-son team has written a series of historical novels that bring the Civil War to life. They make you feel like you were a part of that era.

Re: HMMMM!!!!!!

Sorry about the "was" . I meant was wise for the advice was given in the past . He was wise to give the advice whether living or not.
I have read the Shaara novels and they are great as well, but not nearly as great as the N.E.C. though
