Yes to all. I've seen some of the work by so called professionals.
The exam prep course I took made no mention of building codes, although I was aware of them. I think if we, as electricians were exposed to the building codes, and not from the School of Hard Knocks, we would be better off. The problem is that not many community colleges offere courses on Building Codes for Electricians/Plumbers/HVAC techs.
They offer the course for carpenters.
