I have done the same thing on work I've done in the past. :D

Re: Homeowner DIY

I was looking at a pipe run and all I kept asking myself was "What the heck was I thinking?"

Actually my internal dialog is more R rated but gotta keep it clean here. :D

I suppose this was the one day you had no camera, right?

Re: Homeowner DIY

I just had to get in on this, how many out there have used good ole' 33 when you cut yourself to stop the leak?

Re: Homeowner DIY

As for the medical tape we call that hospital grade phase tape. I have been on a job and out of phase tape had to brake in to the first aid kit to get done before.

Re: Homeowner DIY

The bare ground is going out to the supplementary ground rod. It exits through a drain hole in the LB.
LB's come with drain holes?

Had to look a long time to find one :p .....inspector insited on it.
I guess I am just pure evil, I have been known to drill a small drain hole in LBs. :p

I do the same thing with bell boxes.

Re: Homeowner DIY

Quite a while back there was a thread about entering the back of a panel (probably loadcenter) bit you on bending radius...how deep is the panel? size wire?

Maybe there should be a violation for too neat of a panel...what are you trying to hide? :D

Re: Homeowner DIY

Nice try  , you guys are always 'thinkin. No bend radius. Wall is 11" thick... staight in from the LB outside.

You have a suspicious mind (primary requirment for inspectors?)
Obviously, I have WAY too much time on my hands.
