Again, is this a hot tub or whirlpool? I've never installed a hot tub in a house.
Probably not but I have wired 2 hydomassage tubs, in the same house, that required 220v.Oh, I just saw the 220v mention in the OP! It probably won't be a Hydromassage Bathtub!
Yes 220V is requiried when the tub has its own water heater.....
Hopefully this will be permited and inspected.
