How do you install this light?

I've been getting a lot of these fixtures lately. The problem is how do you make your connections and I've been sticking the driver inside a 4 square box and a blank plate. Then making my connections inside of the 4 square box. It's a tight fit, but it's the only solution I've come up with. I think people order them from China in amazon.

I had been using the low profile blue plastic boxes with a nm connector and blank plate on these fixtures. Between roof and drywall inside the space provided (hopefully). Used a hole saw at perfect size to mount the clips directly to the drywall.

that little bitty cord through an NM connector with 120v on it?

Have you considered not using the supplied lights and using a surface mount LED? light fixture connections are made in a 3 " pancake junction box.

There likely isn't such a problem if you get one that is listed;)

Well now, what fun would that be? ;) I doubt many sparkies are ordering these themselves. As others suggest, probably coming from China via Amazon to the customer direct.

Some install them, some have said they tell the customer it is not listed and want nothing to do with it.

Is any advice on how to install something not listed really worth much?

True, it sounds more like letting a bad concept become a non-compliant installation.

Lithonia makes a light that looks about the same. I think a couple of other reputable manufacturers also make similar fixtures. I'm sure those are listed.

Just like any other light fixture, there will be knock-offs that aren't listed.

I can't tell if the one in the photo is a Lithonia or not. But don't assume its not listed just because it looks like a knock off that wasn't listed.

I don't assume its not listed, I just don't know of a good way to connect to romex.

Lithonia wafers look about the same but have junction box attached to cord with knockouts and wagos, like can light junction box but smaller
