Yeah I can't wait for inspector to try to shoot that down, then show him the catalog page. I never knew such a quantity could be put through a connector. This is gold I am going to stock up on these. 10 12/2s in one connector will make the work look so much cleaner.
I honestly don't know if that will actually work. Do you have to arrange the cables a certain way so that the clamp adequately holds all of them?I never knew such a quantity could be put through a connector.
Hmmm. Five rows of four? Four rows of five? We can't stack them side-by-side on edge.I honestly don't know that will actually work. Do you have to arrange the cables a certain way so that the clamp adequately holds all of them?
Just tighten clamps down for several seconds with your impact driver, they won't go anywhere thenI honestly don't know if that will actually work. Do you have to arrange the cables a certain way so that the clamp adequately holds all of them?
Yeah I didn't notice, are these things listed? If so is there something in the listing standard or does Arlington just come up with this number that they say you can put in them?I honestly don't know if that will actually work. Do you have to arrange the cables a certain way so that the clamp adequately holds all of them?
Interestingly, ten 12-2s but only nine 14-2s.The one I saw is Arlington nm844

I thought that was strange! What are they doing over there?Interestingly, ten 12-2s but only nine 14-2s.

3 x 3 rows of 12-2 and 4 x 3 rows of 14-2?Makes me wonder if it’s a typo in the literature? Probably reversed numbers.
Yeah it’s based on how the cables land naturally coming down from the ceiling or whatever. You’d have to run them that way from the beginning to ensure they go in clean and in that particular order.3 x 3 rows of 12-2 and 4 x 3 rows of 14-2?
The average install with several cables in a large connector is usually pretty random placement vs uniform spacing/alignment.
