Having been a second year apprentice myself, I know that they do not always have unlimited funds. "Construction work is all about problem solving, if they can't solve this issue I have little confidence they can find there way out the front door in the morning."
It is true the problem could be simply solved by submissively spending the ~$4 or even spending ~$80 at Fry's for a fax machine, but the deeper question is: Why is there a problem in the first place?
Senator Robert Kennedy once wrote a book entitled "Why Not the Best?". I never read it but I like the title. Can't we expect a little more intuition on the part of those who are supposedly running or helping run a business?
For instance, if you have a logjam, you could send out a crew with pikes and they could clear it up. But if it keeps on happening in the same spot, you should go out there and see the bottle-neck and do something about it.

I don't see how they put up with you. You're just a meanie. Next thing you know, they will have to walk uphill both ways for an interview.iwire said:...that may require walking, driving or talking the bus.
