How to Advice from AOL

I have no problem with the Greenlee tester. I actually use the same one quite often. Thing is he tested the conductors after he unspliced them. As mentioned he didn't splice the identified conductor in the fixture wire with the neutral. Also when he was done it appeared that the weight of the fixture was hanging on the wire and not the chain. And who hangs a fixture like that without lowering the canopy before making the splices?

I saw another video he did about trimming trees around the yard, in that one he left about 4" of stub out from the trunk. Exactly what you're not supposed to do. I can only imagine a video on running your own gas piping. :rolleyes:

I am waiting for the day that some poor idiot gets electrocuted watching this show. I hope it coes sooner than later so we can lock this moron tile contractor up for good. The one where he hangs a plasma tv is one of my favorites but this one was just as good. I am writing to them to cancel my subscription now.
 
Even worse than those shows get a load of those "Wiring 1-2-3" books next time you're in the local Home Depot.

I am on with Aol right now showing them this chat Stromer should be arrested
 
I love the parts where he removes the wires from the wirenuts then checks
to see if the circuit is live. "Pick any wire." I guess it doesn't matter if
the screw shell is energized,since a homeowner will NEVER have to change
the lamps,and they almost always hold the chain while they change the lamp.
He also make a note to face the ground screw down yet doesn't connect a
EGC to it. I'd like to have a few words with this idiot.

It is under official investigation as of 5 minutes ago. I hope they can this idiot. I just got off line with AOL they say they will look into it.

I think AOL is going to blow you guys off. I really would like to know
what AOL does about this. I hope you guys will pass the information
on to the rest of us.
