I can't believe you placed the breaker for the sub panel so far down the buss.

What a hack.

There are probably a few things that I thought would come up. That is one.

"Warning! Warning!
Wire nut in panel!
Warning! Warning!"

In the right-hand panel, is there a neutral jumper between the two bars on each side of the panel?

What's the significance of 99?

What is the size of the re-identified black conductors being used for a neutral and EGC

Can't see it, but is the neutral bar in the left-side panel bonded?

Edit to add:

Gotta love that original panel... some breakers not used, others doubled up! How many different brands are in there?

Neutral in left panel is not bonded to the enclosure.

The old panels did not have any unused breakers. Those are left from the circuits I demoed from the remodel
The "99" signifies the Great Gretzky special edition panel.
Rabitt ears are pretty much the way the 25 year old wire was formed. To stiff to undo.

Wire sizes are whatever they are supposed to be. Actually I think they are #3cu.
