Do fluoresce t fixtures that r mounted verticly from floor to ceiling need bulb protection. There is
no lenses on fixtures.o

Required by Code? or Required because some goof who doesn't care is gonna come through that stairway at the end of his shift swinging who knows what right into it? :happyyes: And since nobody saw it happen, the lamps will be all over the floor, with nobody to blame except the guy who maintains it. Meanwhile the mercury hazard abatement team will be called in and the costs will start to escalate.

On second thought, I might move the fixture location and/or get a new one with a lens and lens guard.
