Thanks.......:) I dont plan on using that junk any more, going back to standard liquid tight......the real deal...

Now I got it. You used the cheap fittings and the cheap liquid-tight. We have to use the metal interior liquid-tight with the copper wire in the wrap. I thought that was the only UL listed type (other than premanufactured assemblies).

... the wires inside Type NM-B are not labeled as required by 310.11 so you still have a code violation.
It's even technically a violation to strip out old Romex to make pigtails.

Good point, since we are talking 'technicalities'.

Guess I never checked the wire label itself.
