Oh, and I prefer the John Ward explanations over the GSH or the NICEIC videos... but have around thirty dvds filled up with videos on different electrical stuff and have some going back to early days of YouTube... think I even have one somewhere, probably in my junk in Jamaica, showing Tommie Walsh describing why to use licensed electricians, and another one of Holmes in Canada showing some dodgy electrical work there...
been collecting videos a long time, so I have them in folders usually... yet still learning the basics of the paperwork..lol...

Plug your guitar through a stereo chorus stompbox into two amplifiers. Sometimes the only way to quench the 60Hz hum is to lift the ground on one of the amps. Both amps are still chassis grounded, although one of them is grounded through the cable shield instead of through its power cord.

Yup- one example of where ground may become none existent.

Ain’t gonna happen. Too much acrimony already.

If nothing else, have pity for the poor forgotten lobsters and close it IMO.
