Looking for a light switch

You might be able to cobble something together. Eg a single pole double throw momentary rocker, controlling a dimmer running in a box somewhere.

Short press for on or off, long press to change brightness. I don't know if the dimming hardware with this interface is off the shelf. The switches are ...

The DDL06-1LZ looks like a momentary push paddle, not a snap paddle. But the momentary dimer paddle is desired, but with a std on/off snap paddle.

Their literature just calls it a rocker switch, but I agree it must be a momentary switch because the rocker is shown sitting in a middle position. It just needs a momentary contact for initiating its soft fade-on and fade-off feature.

That said, I will have to go with snap paddle with the dimmer slider.
