Hey guys, thought maybe you could help me with my problem. I have an APC SU5000RMT5U 5000VA UPS. This particular UPS is 208v (although it will accept an input anywhere from 157v-255v). Problem is, I only have a 30a 125v receptacle on the wall. However, I have purchased a 5000w step-up transformer to handle the conversion from 110v to 220v.

I can adapt the 30a/125v receptacle to the 15a/125v end on the transformer no problem, but i'm not sure how to plug the big UPS into the transformer, as the transformer only accepts a NEMA 5-15R. This UPS is already charged up, and should not be pulling anywhere near 5000w as I only have probably 2500-3000w worth of equipment plugged into it.

Any advice?
