It's just part of the software package, a feature that the younger crowd like to use in their forums, where it seems the main objective is making smart-alec remarks and flaming each other.

Best plan is to just ignore it in this kind of forum. Most of us have better things to do than rating each other.

I don't have a problem with the rating system. Im just glad they don't have negative numbers.

Next step- In an Electrical spirit, Positive,Neutral, and Negative feedback ratings similar to what E-Bay uses.

None of the moderators like the rating stars either so we are recommending that it be discontinued.

The moderators do not like the ratings and are asking to have that feature turned off. Ten electricians will pipe a job ten different ways, all correct. How do you rate that?
