Would be a long drive to northern illinois to spend a few hours in my crawl space.

I have not done anything, yet. And may not get around to anything at all.

I have been meaning to replace the three individual wires that feed from my main PB to the panelboard in the basement ever since I discovered the guy who wired it only ran three wires, two lines and neutral, and then jumped the neutral and ground bars together in the basement panel. I discovered that in 1986 or 1987 and have yet to fix it, although several times I have thought about it.

Have not done anything about fixing the detached garage that has no GES either. Decided it was more trouble than it was worth when I replaced the three THHN wires that somehow just appeared in the garage panel with UF. No conduit for those three wires that I could ever find. I think they were just buried in the ground under the concrete walkway.
